Celeste Emmons Jamerson

Soprano - DMA

CELESTE EMMONS JAMERSON currently teaches voice at the Music Conservatory of Westchester.  She is a cantor and the soprano soloist at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church in Ridgefield, CT.  She holds Bachelors degrees in voice and German studies from Oberlin College, a Masters of Music degree from Indiana University, and the Doctor of Musical Arts degree from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.  She has sung with the Greensboro Symphony, the Fredonia Chamber Players, Indiana Opera Theatre, the Wildwood Opera Theatre Tour, and Opera Northeast.  She is a former faculty member of the State University of New York at Fredonia, The University of North Carolina at Greensboro, and Guilford College in North Carolina.
